Which one to buy
These are not really competing at the same price: Philips HP8142 costs ₹174 more than Nova NHP8104, 30% above it. The question is less which is better value and more whether Philips HP8142 does something you actually need.
The ratings pull against the price here. Philips HP8142 is the more expensive of the two yet scores 4.3★ to 4.0★, so the premium is buying something buyers evidently notice. Whether it is worth ₹174 depends on how much that difference matters to you.
One caveat that only shows up across platforms: Philips HP8142 carries an MRP mismatch, meaning its listings show different maximum retail prices, while Nova NHP8104 does not. That does not tell us which listing is wrong, or why, but it does mean the discount percentage on Philips HP8142 is calculated from an MRP that differs between listings.
The ₹575 figure is on Amazon, and is the lowest we observed across every listing we track for it. Prices on both products move often enough that it is worth opening each listing before deciding.
