Which one to buy
These are not really competing at the same price: Vega VHTH28 costs ₹302 more than Philips HP6388, 25% above it. The question is less which is better value and more whether Vega VHTH28 does something you actually need.
The ratings point the same way as the price: Philips HP6388 is both cheaper and better rated, at 3.9★ from 10,848 ratings against 3.8★. When the cheaper product is also the better-reviewed one there is not much left to weigh up.
One caveat that only shows up across platforms: Philips HP6388 carries an MRP mismatch, meaning its listings show different maximum retail prices, while Vega VHTH28 does not. That does not tell us which listing is wrong, or why, but it does mean the discount percentage on Philips HP6388 is calculated from an MRP that differs between listings.
That ₹1,197 is the best of 3 listings we track for Philips HP6388, currently on Flipkart. Note that Vega VHTH28 appears on fewer stores (2), so its price has less competition to hold it down and is the more likely of the two to drift.
